Winterspring Cubs were made available in the patch and are proving to be extremely popular. They are rather cute companion pets with some nice animations and definitely don't look like the kind of companion pet that are bought from a vendor. Because of this they are selling for very high prices - I've even heard of some people selling them for over 1,000 gold. Now the prices will probably drop pretty quickly once people find out how easy they are to get so the sooner you get in this market the better.
To get the cubs simply fly out to Winterspring and run into the inn. You are looking for Michelle de Rum and she is going to be your new best friend. Why? Because she sells the cubs for a mere 50 gold, that's why.
So get over to Michelle now and have fun making gold!
I sold three of them this morning for 1400g I felt a little bad if I'm honest! They've dropped down to around 300g now. I'm expecting them to settle around 150g in a few days/weeks much like the three Dalaran pets which I've sold since Wrath for that price.

At 8am EST, 7am server, there were 22 listed in the AH today ranging from 1,200g to 250g.
ReplyDeleteI considered this a waste of time market and just bought one for myself from the vendor.
Right now there are still over 15 and the price is down to 75g.
Hope others had better luck.
This is a good money maker, but there's always people who ruin it by posting like 30 cubs at a time. Potential buyers will notice they must be easy to obtain and google it! Selling for 200g ish still here though.
ReplyDeleteI've sold a few for around 150. I have a druid who I send to Moonglade pretty regularly anyway, and it's just a short hop over to Everlook, so it's easy gold, if not a whole lot of it.
