So about an hour after I put up my list of materials to stockpile for patch 4.2 yesterday Anaalius posted a similar list on his blog and I came to realize that the list I had used was not complete. It appears that for some reason a lot of the items aren't under professions in Wowhead but are under items instead. I believe I have now gone through all the data gleaned from the PTR and have gotten all of the new profession skills. I have listed all of the new skills below along with my updated stockpile list at the end of the post.
Blacksmithing
Warboots of Mighty Lords
Witch-Hunter's Harvester
Engineering
Extreme-Impact Hole Puncher
Flintlocke's Woodchucker

Leatherworking
- If you have a blacksmith or leatherworker - Chaos Orbs - These are used in a LOT of recipes. While all of the leatherworker recipes also require living embers (and so probably won't be able to be crafted immediately) having a ready stock of orbs will enable you to focus on obtaining embers as soon as patch 4.2 comes out.
- Pristine Hides and Heavy Savage Leather - There will be huge demand for these with all of the new leatherworking recipes. You can turn in the leather for Pristine Hides in any major city. If you have a leatherworker you can add Savage Leather and Savage Leather Scraps to this list as you can craft them into Heavy Savage Leather and/or Pristine Hides.
- Embersilk Cloth - Required in a lot of tailor recipes.
- Blackened Dragonscale - These are used extensively in the leatherworking recipes.
- Volatile Fire and Volatile Water - These seem to be the most used volatiles.
- Volatile Air - This is also used in quite a few recipes.
- Elementium Bars - These are used in the blacksmithing recipes. I would adjust the amount you stockpile a bit based on how much farming there is on your server. If you server has lots of farmers don't stockpile as much as the increase in demand will probably be met rather quickly - if your server has few farmers I'd stockpile more as it will probably take longer for your server's increased demand to be met.
- Truegold - This is used a bit but all of the recipes also require Chaos Orbs to craft. This could present a choke point in demand if your server doesn't have a lot of people in heroics.
- Inferno Rubies - These are needed for a few of the recipes and demand for them is already high.
- Dreamcloth - Assuming you have a tailor.
My updated list of items to have in stock but don't stockpile per se.
- If you have a tailor or engineer - Chaos Orbs - Have a few in case they become BOE or to make extra Dreamcloth and/or the Extreme-Impact Hole Puncher.
- Amberjewels and Ocean Sapphires - Due to an increase in demand you might actually be able to sell a few for a decent price after patch 4.2 is released.
- Inferno Inks, Bleached Jawbones, Preserved Ogre's Eyes, and Silver Charm Bracelets. I plan to make sure I list a few of these before any possible patch day to supply the first people making the new Inscription relics. - No change from yesterday.
Again this list is very preliminary. Are there any recipes that you've found that aren't on the list? Are you stockpiling anything different? Sound off below. :)
Warcraft Gold Tip: Items such as faction companion pets often sell for more gold on the opposite faction. Use the Neutral Auction House to transfer items from one faction to another and increase your profits.

Any news of a possible use for Zephyrite? Would be nice if they made another disenchant worthy ring or neck with it.
